WHO WE ARE

For more than three decades, the UCLA Asian American Studies Center Library has been acknowledged as the nation's leading repository of resources and materials on the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience. With the leadership of a knowledgeable and dedicated staff, more than 5,000 bound volumes, including rare and unique collections of books, academic papers, community newspapers, personal annotations and histories have been archived. The L/RR collections form the nexus of print and digital resources for students, scholars, and researchers.

The need for these resources in print and accessible formats (print, digital, and online) mirrors both the dramatic increase in Asian Pacific American populations and growing interest in this dynamic community from scholars and researchers around the world. Your partnership in developing more convenient and innovative resources for research will facilitate greater access and ensure presentation of the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience.
