UCLA ASIAN AMERICAN STUDIES CENTER SCHOLARSHIPS & FELLOWSHIPS

Awards range from $1,000 to $8,000. They are provided from endowments and special funds that were established through the generosity of donors to the UCLA Asian American Studies Center.

Fellowships, Grants, Scholarships are given for community oriented research, creative projects, campus or community service experience, internship with specified community organizations.

Eligibility

  • For Fellowships, Scholarships, Internships and Grants, the applicant must be a registered continuing graduate or undergraduate student enrolled at UCLA in Fall 2009, Winter 2010, Spring 2010 and can include Summer 2009 if applicable.
  • For Prizes, students who are continuing or graduating/completing their degree programs can submit papers, thesis or dissertation.
  • Applicant can be enrolled in any departmental major or graduate program at UCLA.
  • Additional eligibility or criteria requirements for specific fellowships, scholarships, internships, grants and prizes may be listed.
  • Applicant can be of any race or ethnicity and academic discipline at UCLA, for most fellowships, scholarships, internships, grants and prizes.

  • Students can submit papers they have written for academic coursework or can submit newly written papers or proposals. See full Guidelines for more specific information.
