Biographical Information

Tam Nguyen graduated from UCLA with his B.S. As the UCLA Asian American Studies Center IT Coordinator and Programmer/Analyst, Tam provides technical support and Information Technology research and development. With 10+ years working in the IT industry, he brings his skills and knowledge base to the Center to establish the Center's online presence as the ultimate web portal for Asian American Studies.

Tam's has worked with a wide variety of community-based organizations (e.g. Little Tokyo Service Center, Chinatown Service Center, Korean Youth and Community Center, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans, etc.) and is currently active in the Vietnamese-American and Vietnamese community. He has worked with senior citizens in the Orange County area and now works with various individuals providing education and aide to Vietnam.
