Biographical Information

Having graduated many times from UCLA, Marjorie Lee is a lifetime UCLA Bruin alum. She received her BA in East Asian Studies and her 1st MA in Asian American Studies. Focus of her thesis research documented social history of 2nd and 3rd generation Chinese Americans in pre-war through post WWII eras. She continues to participate in and support community research on Southern California's Chinese Americans.

Marji was a barefoot librarian until she decided to get her 'shoes' and received 2nd MA at UCLA in Library & Information Management. When not cataloging, archiving, and working with her colleague, Judy Soo Hoo, and team of student assistants in providing library services to students, faculty, and community, Marji enjoys developing small group tours to explore the 'real' China.
