Scholarship judge, the Annual Japanese American Community Graduation Program, Denver, Colorado: 1993; 1994; 1997.  (This organization, representing over twenty local Japanese American community groups and families, presently awards twenty-four scholarships to graduating seniors in Colorado's Front Range region every year).  Sereved as publicity coordinator, 2000, 2001, 2002.

Consultant to the Kids Look at America's Japanese American Heritage  book project, Westridge Elementary School, Littleton, CO, June - October, 1993. 

Board member, Japanese Community Youth Council, San Francisco, 1984-1991.
