The City of Los Angeles deploys cleanup teams to emcampments as part of its homelessness response. These cleanups- or "sweeps" - are a contentious civil and human rights issue. Learn how to legally observe and monitor police and sanitation at encampment sweeps and hear from community members on their efforts to advocate agains the criminalization of homelessness in favor of a public health-centered response.
