• The Diversity Challenge: Increase Relevance to Diverse Communities
  Community tours, field studies, leadership retreats. The activities reflect one emphasis of the Asian American Studies Center's Student/Community Projects unit-to regenerate campus interest and inolvement in the diversifying Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

• New Issue of Amerasia Journal Focuses on Koreans and Hmong in America
  "Emerging Ethnicity: Focus on the Korean Hmong communities in America," is the theme of the current issue of Amerasia Journal 14:1 1988, now available through the UCLA Asian American Studies Center.
