Pacific Ties Newsmagazine is celebrating its 31st anniversary and is winner of the 2009 Best Overall Publication award from Campus Progress.

The event will feature speakers Mark Pulido and Julie Ha. Mark Pulido was Pacific Ties Editor in Chief in 1989-90 and is now a member of the Artesia Bellflower Cerritos School Board. Julie Ha was Pacific Ties Editor in Chief from 1991-1993 and is now senior editor at KoreAm Journal.

Breaking Ground exhibit at UCLA's Powell College Library Rotunda closes on December 11th, 2009.
